Welcome to the website of The Lantern Restaurant, a Mahopac NY tradition for over 40 years. We’re located on Route 6, 1/4 mile east of Croton Falls Road, across from the Mahopac Firehouse. The Lantern Restaurant is Putnam County’s finest Steak and Seafood House. In addition to our expansive Dining Room and warm and cozy Bar, featuring a wonderfully rustic decor, we also have a beautiful Banquet Room that seats up to 100 persons. Our signature “Kansas City” Steaks are a true local favorite. You’ll be sure to enjoy our Prime Rib Special , as well as our N.Y. Strip!
The Lantern Restaurant is open for Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you! Enjoy your visit to our website. If you’d like, you can view our online menu and call in advance to place your order. Reservations are recommended, but not required. Our dresscode is casual, but neat. Jackets are not required.
